Sharing the Recipe

How to make a Poppet.
Use unbleached muslin.  You don't want it to look storebought.  Pick out an ancestor. You must have the intention for the specific person before you take a piece of artist charcoal and trace an outline on a double-folded piece of material.  After you trace it sew on the charcoal outline.  Don't use a cookie cutter- you want it to be individual.  Trace out the human shape.  Sew the shape.  I start on the side and go down the left leg.  Stuff with natural cotton after turning inside out...That turning inside out can be tricky, use a pencil or small crochet hook.  Put in a quote from the person, hand written.  Then do a naval and a butt crack and breasts and a face.  No genitals- that is private.  Copy the facial features from a photo.  You will capture their spirit.  Then keep wrapped.  You cannot leave it around disrespected, think of the poppet as the person.  You can then look at and talk to it as though it was the person.  Perhaps you will  get answers in your mind. Make little clothes.  Suits for men are a little tricky and take practice.  You can use brown or pink cloth or  other color.  Sometimes I color it with oil pastels or acrylic.

I originally thought that the use of cell phones were detrimental, but I could be wrong.  The dead have a frequency, perhaps the use of the iphone or other would make you brain more receptive.

Charcoal is  carbon a previous life form, like the poppet.  I use artist ink pens for the features and add a  little lip color and eye color.

Have fun and be sure to take seriously....we all have potential to communicate with our dead loved ones.
